Why & How

We've been guilty of picking up books just because of the cover illustration -- or hiding/giving away perfectly good literature because the illustrations didn't work. There's few things more fulfilling than getting the right image and layout for page, a site, a flyer. The co-owner spent a year designing 8 1/2 x 11 black and white flyers for a distribution company -- during which he learned that illustration is not only about getting an idea across but it's about how you use space to create a feeling.

Illustration is different today than it was 30 years ago, 2 huge changes being stock photography and Photoshop manipulation. Most of the time you can find an image that works without paying an illustrator to create it for you. There is still a time and a place for it, though, and whether it's doing an inkwash, a watercolor, a pencil drawing, a AI illustration or a Photoshop collage we would love to take the time to make your idea come alive in a way that can't be achieved using stock images.
